Sustainable Design and Development

Landify’s landscaping is designed to create real added value for communities and their residents. To achieve this, we closely coordinate site design closely with the community and its landowners. We aim to develop areas that will benefit the community and ecoystem long-term.

Through our projects with businesses, states, and municipalities, we are an active part of the circular economy and contribute to the economic and ecological design of municipal areas.

Sustainable Redevelopment

Places that were once actively used but have been abandoned for various reasons, such as economic decline or demographic changes, can be used again through targeted area development.

Areas that are not cultivated are often neglected, such as areas with predominance of spontaneous vegetation (wild grass, shrubs) or barren areas. Fallow land can have both natural causes, such as drought or poor soil, and man-made causes, such as mining or industrial pollution or a lack of public funding.

Both closed and active quarries and sand and gravel pits can be effectively reclaimed through partnerships with Landify. We have had significant success with both surface and underground mining reclamation, relieving the mine operators of the substantial financial burdens associated with reclamation and delivering and end use of significant benefit to the community.

The advantage of developing sites into agricultural land is that obstacles to cultivation can be eliminated and areas with poor soils can be improved. Here we primarily look after damaged agricultural land and concentrate on its agricultural reuse.

Landify can help repair contaminated areas by disposing of discarded waste properly and revitalizing the area. Even areas that have unusual contamination, such as expended lead ammunition at former shooting ranges, can potentially be remediated. In the end, however, the community and/or the owner always decide the best course of action for the area.

Landify can help local municipalities improving existing public parks or build new ones at greatly reduced cost.

FAQ

The communities that get the upgraded space pay little or nothing, depending on the final design requirements. Put simply, construction companies pay for the removal of their unwanted soil, and that payment funds the development.

Soil that is excavated from construction sites inherently must be disposed of or recycled. We offer a better solution that has high ecological, economic and social value.

Landify works with local communities and landowners to determine what’s best for the area – with the locals having the final say.

We do not accept contaminated soil. The reused soil should enhance the area, support the environment and offer added value, so we are selective about our soils and take our responsibility very seriously.
